Social Hour's founder, Megan Rees, not only has an innate knowledge of social media but worked with Greensboro City Arts and Events Department on boosting their social media effectiveness. Megan has also worked with local entrepreneurs on their social media followings.

While at an organizational retreat, I found an area that people needed help with creating a social media presence. I noticed that even those who knew how to use social media they were not taking full advantage of it. Some of us simply do not have the time to run multiple social media accounts along with their small business or they do not know how to use it at all. While talking with a Ghost Writer, I got the idea to help small business owners run their social media accounts! With some more research I found that there are companies currently doing this but they are very general, and the focus is for much larger companies. I then decided to focus on all the amazing entrepreneurs in the event industry. With that I created Social Hour!
